Bike Event for Women's Rights
Pin design
#cykelansiktet This year(2019) it is one hundred years since women got the right to vote in Sweden. Back then it was also deemed inappropriate for women to ride a bike.
This event was part of a larger campaign in Sweden which uses the bike as a symbol to talk about women's rights. I designed a pin for Amnesty's booth which features the traditional penny-farthing but with a girl on top as opposed to the stereotypical man in a suit and top hat. At the booth, people could colourise the design and press their own pins.
Pitching to RedBullTV
Berghs Bachelor
redbulltv.com A great benefit with studying at Berghs School of Communication is that you work on real client cases. During the fall of 2016, my group pitched our "Free Thrills" Campaign to RedBullTv.
RedBullTV is a streaming platform that offers a range of genres in video content. The challenges we faced were that the platform had close to zero recognition and we proved through interviews that people were very fast to assume we were advertising the RedBull drink, so our message was easily lost. We understood that people who did not like the RedBull drink would not listen to the message and less tech-savvy audiences would not yield a high conversion ratio.
Our strategy was to hone in on the younger part of our demographic who were already brand fans and get them to evangelize for us. To them, the recognition would be a strength. So throughout our campaign, we focused on the content on the platform which was closest to the RedBull brand. Our messaging was aimed at driving signups from the younger audience and used references to other streaming platforms to put our message in the right context. We made sure to mention that the platform was free, which was especially relevant to the lower income segment we directed our campaign towards.

Electric Skateboard Build
For me, this was one of those moments where you realize you can do anything you set your mind to, with some help from the internet.
I had no prior experience from working with electronics when I saw Boosted Boards Ted talk, pitching their early concept electric powered skateboard. As soon as I saw the electric skateboard, I knew it was exactly what I always wanted. But, if they could fit so much power in their small form factor, how much power could I not pack into my tiny, tiny cruise board? They also mentioned that the parts they used were actually from the toy store... I entered the rabbit hole and have since built two, too powerful, electric skateboards for less than the price of a Boosted board.
